I hate to give poor ratings. Sometimes people just have bad days. That being said, my editor was late on his turnaround and did a very poor job on my document. I could not use most of his comments or insertions. If I had just accepted all corrections without reading through it first, my paper would have been worse than when I turned it in for review.

I'm torn because I've had good results with Editor World in the past. This experience has made me unsure of whether I want to use the service again.

Long time no edit! I do apologize for the absence, but I'm back and ready to continue working on my novel! I've reviewed your notes and implemented most of the changes. The only question I have is in reference to the passage regarding Damon's Halloween fort.  I get what you mean about it being a time jump, but I was really trying to set it as more of a flashback scene from Lela's POV. Does the same rule apply. I wouldn't want readers to be confused when they see the offset paragraph and then it jumps right back into her cooking in the kitchen.
