More than 20 years’ experience as a copy editor gives me the skills necessary to edit your manuscript quickly, ensuring your prose is clear, concise, and correct. The primary genres I write and edit in are fantasy and science fiction, though I've also worked on contemporary, romance, women's fiction, historical, and thriller novels. 

 

Nonfiction topics I am familiar with include business, history, philosophy, and religion, including Bible studies.

 

I have edited more than 80 books for more than 60 clients in my years as a freelance editor. Most of these were fiction, but I also edit nonfiction for both the general market and the Christian submarket. Before becoming a freelancer, I had a long career in business journalism. 

 

I'm an elder in the Presbyterian Church USA and teach Bible studies. My love of sci-fi and fantasy comes from having been raised by parents who were Trekkies before anyone ever coined that word. My favorite authors of the past are Jane Austen and CS Lewis, and my favorite current authors are Mary Robinette Kowal and CJ Archer.

This editor passed the due. As I had to submit my document to my advisor on time, I had to submit my document without this editor's work. Thus, I sent message to cancel my request before this editor starts working. However, this editor just ignored my message and worked late. This editor's comment was "Sorry this is late. Please accept with my apologies." However, I already submitted my work. I did not want to make an issue if this editor had canceled my payment, but I did not get an answer. Thus, I am writing this comment. I do not recommend this editor.
