It seems to me that good writing is like a good photograph—well composed, in focus and not cluttered by distracting elements. Some editors look at one’s work through the “lens” of their own mind’s eye. Writers may be told, to continue the metaphor, that they should “move the tripod 100 feet to the left” and “switch to a wide-angle lens”. This can be discouraging, especially to young writers who may be influenced by authoritative pedantry. They may be uncertain of the validity of their own voice. Let the marketplace of ideas evaluate their worth, not an editor. TypeRighter is that rare editor who is able to see things from your point of view. He offers suggestions which refine the focus, improve word selection and remove distracting verbal clutter or grammatical errors (mea culpa!)—sometimes small items that throw off a reader just that much—so that the “images” in your mind, your ideas, can be seen more clearly by others. I’m happy to have found him.

The title that you helped improve is awesome. Many details in the manuscript that you revised are not just previcse but beautifully done. I really love it. 

BTW, this kind of academic paper this time I sent is not easy to deal with (with jargons, argumenation, and a specific genre requirement within the word limit), but you amazed me that you refined it so well.
