I hold a PhD and MA in English from Harvard University, and a BA in English (with a Slavics minor) from Indiana University. Before my PhD, I worked as a Editorial Assistant at Indiana University Press, where I copyedited and proofread academic manuscripts in subjects ranging from folklore and history to bioethics and paleontology. I also have experience as a freelance copyeditor and research assistant, providing editing and research support to educational publishers as well as academic faculty. During and after my PhD, I taught literature and first-year composition for six years, and so have experience supporting writers across a range of levels.
While I'm now pursuing my own research, I'm also eager to continue supporting writers working across genres and areas with my editorial expertise.
