I can make your writing more concise, more professional, more creative, and more effective in its purpose, whether English is not your native language and it needs an overhaul, or you are talented and it could just use a bit of polish. Having edited over 5000 documents and more than 200 novels, my experience covers a broad range. From science, paranormal, and contemporary fiction to memoirs, how-to books, children's lit, ad copy, personal statements and theses, I have a passion for making your writing the best it can be.

Laura provided invaluable edits and suggestions for my 94,000-word novel. It had already been edited several times, so I was amazed that she was able to come up with so many ways to improve it. She found obscure mistakes, pointed out repetitive phrasing, and found instances where more active or descriptive words could be substituted. She didn’t make changes just to make changes or to add her own voice, as some editors might. Instead, her suggestions enhanced the story and voice, which should be the goal of all great editors. In addition to excellent editing, she added reactions as a reader to different events while suggesting areas where the tension/stakes could be increased. All her suggestions made the novel and characters more compelling. I'm truly grateful and would highly recommend her to anyone.
