I worked as a project director for over 12 years, managing large and small research studies looking at psychosocial issues related to adult and pediatric cancer. My areas of expertise include health, fitness, cancer, sociology, health communication, psychology, education, nursing, and medicine. I am currently the grants administrator for a rural healthcare system. In this role I help clinical leaders and administration write compelling grant applications.
I have authored eleven publications in peer-reviewed journals and have presented research findings at over 40 national and international conferences. I have extensive grant writing and editing experience as well as experience editing personal statements, cover letters, PowerPoint presentations, conference proceedings, dissertations, theses, and grant applications. I have written my own master's thesis and PhD dissertation and have mentored and edited several others. While some of the comments are not in line with the conventions in the field (quantitative sociology of education), it is clear that a lot of effort has been put and the result is more than satisfying.
