While I am thankful you were initially there to help me speed up my editing job during these difficult times, it didn't do me much good in the long run. I've gone back over the changes now that I'm feeling better and I am having to fix mistakes in your changes, correct what you did not find and more. There were inconsistencies with your changes and specific editorial changes I needed / asked to be done throughout the entire job you gave a mixed bag result. On those few pages where you did use only italics for titles, I don't have to stay as long on those pages but so far I have not found many of those. You either mix it up or use quotations and like I said, the client wants to use only italics. It's understandable to a point for an editor to miss some mistakes, we're all human, but when an editor makes changes and creates errors in the process for which said editor does not catch or correct those new mistakes, that is problematic. I don't know why these things happened with you but I came to you in dire need, paying you all the money I had been paid to complete this job for which I needed help. I took a total loss but now, I am still working after having paid you. I gave you a 3 because I do not know your circumstances and I understand stress can create a mental block. I am going to give you the benefit of the doubt and assume it was. While I am upset with my circumstances, I harbor no hard feelings and wish you all the very best in your future. I need to get back to editing... l have a deadline for the client. Stay safe during these crazy times. All the best to you.
